| FREE training is available for 75 businesses to help enhance web capacity and e-marketing skills |

Business Grow Queensland Pty Ltd, a local business and Chamber member, has been one of the successful applicant's of AusIndustry's Small Business Online Program. The funding will provide eight hours of FREE training to 75 businesses to enhance their web capacity and e-marketing skills. The project's focus will be training and skill development through one-on-one active learning, equipping small businesses to establish and/or grow their online capacity; enhancing their web facilities, engaging in more e-business technology, reducing costs and improving their marketing opportunities. This project will work with the business to establish more effective web content, establish and build their own site, develop e-business strategies through Search Engine Optimisation, utilise free business/website listings and Google maps, and marketing through email campaigns and Google ad words. Businesses will be able to manage how they capture and track visitors, visitor reporting and Google Analytics; and also how to monitor their site. Businesses will be strengthened through their use of e-business communications with not only their clients but also linking in with other businesses in their region and nationally and being part of local community sites and business sites. A website and/or business health check (for those that don't have website) will form the foundation for each business engaging in training. Business Grow Queensland Pty Ltd will deliver flexible training of 8 hours over a 2-4 week period per business, and categorised training in to two sectors: 1. Businesses that do not have a web presence: a high level needs and benefits analysis: training in e-business applications: proficiency in reporting and searching: maintenance for the business user: a pre-build session with a web designer; and potential for development of a simple website.

Businesses that have an existing website: a website health check will be
carried out; recommendations and training on process improvement; updating
