In 2003 the Redland City Chamber of Commerce identified a need for a dedicated series of events specifically for the business women in Redlands to meet and network. In response, the Redland Women in Business was launched as a sub group with a series of events held on a regular basis, and it continues to grow each year. Typically the events are both inclusive and welcoming, with a general attitude of acceptance and support being expressed towards both members and non-members of the Chamber alike.
Meetings are designed to inspire and educate, as well as nurture business to business relationships. At our formal luncheons and dinners, keynote presenters will speak on a specific topic, and there is plenty of time for making new friendships and building on existing relationships. Our informal events are get-togethers for fostering business relationships, and are typically held at a venue where both food and drink are available for purchase at your own discretion.
Create opportunities for women to reap the rewards of sustainable, profitable and strong business in the Redlands
To deliver regular formal meetings with educational and inspirational topics that alternate with informal network meetings. We aim to enable women in business to grow through strengthened relationships that encourage women to share and collaborate. To retain local business via alliances with other local business women.
