Redland City Chamber of Commerce

The National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry (The Code) establishes minimum standards businesses must meet to be eligible for Australian Government building and construction work.

Since the launch of the new Redland City Chamber of Commerce website, members have been asking how they can take advantage of this fantastic resource and how we can help them to promote events and market their businesses.

We are delighted to announce a range of packages which are designed to assist members in promoting events, seminars and other business activities or promotions, both on the Chamber website and also by way of the Chamber’s monthly e-Newsletter.

The Chamber Business Club is a unique sponsorship program that will involve a limited number of Redland businesses each year.

It is the Chambers goal that over the life of the program many hundreds of Redland companies take advantage of this business platform, in order to establish an immediate profile, contacts and build long-term, sustainable links throughout the marketplace.

The Redlands City Chamber of Commerce has conducted research to identify business in the Redlands that constitute the approx. 11,610 businesses operating in our Region. (Source: ABS June 2007),

Ok, I’ve mentioned how busy last month was, obviously that was a warm up for this month.

Our functions committee organized a Christmas in July at the Court House Restaurant, and what a wonderful evening it was; Full moon, incoming tide, pleasant company and good food, certainly a recipe for success.

Chamber members and their guests were treated to an evening of fine food, and superb entertainment from Belle Strings and Scott Davis, Illusionist on the evening of Friday 22 July 2008.

As part of the ongoing development of the Redland City Chamber of Commerce website, Propeller Graphic Design & Marketing are delighted to launch the websites’ latest evolution – Member Testimonials. In addition to being able to view Chamber members business profiles, clients who have had dealings with the business featured can now leave a (short please) testimonial detailing their experience. To prevent abuse, all submitted Testimonials are first moderated and then displayed underneath the businesses’ contact details.
